It was fun to see this creature holding onto the rock and looking for food. I was able to walk around and see a lot of sea anemones though, so that was cool.Īlso, I got lucky and saw a big sea slug as I was about to turn around and head back. 9 feet, and you really want it to be 0 feet or negative to see the best stuff.

This is where the tide pools begin, and the best time to see them is, of course, at low tide. The remains have graffiti on them now, but it is still interesting to see. This platform ends right at the remains of an old WWII bunker that used to sit on the beach here. From the beach, there is an elevated platform that will take you over to the tide pools.

There is also a small pier here that you can walk out on. The beach itself is beautiful, and it is a great place to spend a half day relaxing in the sun and water. This will lead you down to the bathhouse and aquarium.Īfter parking, proceed to the right side of the beach, which is where you will be starting the walk from. From there, turn left on Stephen White Dr.
